Dover ITE Taekwondo Club '07-'08.

These people are the best things this world has to provide; I suspect they're angels dropped from heaven. Ok maybe I'm just in this hyper-utopia of having seen a good show from them at the demo.

Seriously, they rocked the house - WuShu was good with all their jumping and stunning stunts (uh... pun intended?), but Taekwondo just kicked butt on the stage with the audience response - some called out our people's names, others made sound effects to go along with the scene.

Words just can't describe how happy I am for them to be able to have done so well today - despite the short notice (and many cock-ups and changes). I must admit that the piece wasn't perfect - but with the given preparation time as a rather big factor, it was good enough to say everyone did their best - there'd always be room for improvement, no?

I still stick to my stand - getting best is secondary, as long as you've given it your all. If any of them happen to pop by here, and sees this, I unashamedly declare that I'm pleased with their performances, and am proud to say that they are my people (other than me being the major screw up).

Well done, people.

I believe that they'll be able to do it again next year, with the next Chairman of the club... which is still vague; we still don't know who. If everybody sticks together like now.

And I'd also like to extend my gratitude to Sir, who helped a major lot in this whole 'production' - the scripting, the planning, choreography, etc. If it were not for him, I believe what we'd have delivered wouldn't be as nice as what History records.

Thanks a million, Sir.

Altogether, I thank you all from Sir, to Jun Xiang and the Year Ones that performed with my heartfelt gratitude. I thank you more than just two words can fully describe.

If there's the "best" thing that has happened to me since taking over the club as Chairman, it will be you guys (and girls), and my fellow working partner, Jun Xiang.

With one hurdle down, and our bonds stronger (I hope), let's strive to make Dover ITE Taekwondo a success: next stop, IVP (for me, again).

PS: Now I know why I haven't been 'performing'. Because the initials for Dover Taekwondo Club can be written as DTC (Don't Trust Clement). Haha, ok, I know it's not funny; I had accidentally realised that while blogging.

Yes.
