Arked by Choy!

Headed down to The Ark (at SAFRA Town Club) to support my "Ah Mah", Choy Ting - yes, the one in the photo featured above.

Her singing was fantabulous, despite the fear and trembling she portrayed to her six-year good buddies, Shirleen & Bernice, ignoring all else within the 5km radius. I, Jia Wei & one of her other Poly friends, had the previllege of the sight as we were sitting in front of them.

Haha, after her round, she went around the place - to meet her vast amount of friends (or supporters, I should say) around. For a good singer and friend, I believe that would have earned Choy Ting a good amount of both supporters and friends.

Going up the stage, she had already earned herself some morale support from the floor; her friends. Guess that must have boost her confidence up.

Her singing, marvellous. I may not be good at Music, but I could hear that her singing wasn't very much off pitch, and more evidently, it was nowhere near unpleasant to the ears.

Even the judges praised her - or at least, didn't go shooting her down. A few teases on the judges - i.e. saying that she was too good for words to describe and all along that line.

Of course one or two minor bad points were raised, but nonetheless, still fantastic performance on the overall.

That was proven when the results were released and Choy Ting topped the round. Wow, the pressure and stress on her was kinda overwhelming her, when the emcee had went straight to the point. Had he played with the suspense, I think Choy would have hyperventilated at that time.

Highest point in both Judges' and Audience's decisions. Undisputedly the top, man!

And that's so much for the Quarter-final round that I had went yesterday. I'd go for the Semi-finals if I have the time to - and if could, I'd just like to go and take photographs... can I skip the $15 cover charge?

Hey, 7.5 hours of working allowance, ok - for attachment, that is. And besides, I'm just going there to take a person's photo - one only. Don't be so stingy, can - or I pay $10 in total - $5 for taking photos and another $5 for voting!

PS: I slept at 0530 doing up the photos, ok - not that anyone was rushing me - was feeling the adrenaline to play with my Photoshop CS2's best function: Image Processor - resizes the image to dimensions and quality you want. One instruction (ok, maybe a few lah), and all's done for you.

P/PS: She looks good, but don't you even think about taking the photo without permission HOR!
